Damage Claims: With purchase of our Professional Mover Service, Simple Movers and its vendors are liable for damage during the load and/or unload ONLY. We will fix or replace your item(s) for damages at a rate schedule of $.60 cents per pound per item. Shipper understands that the carrier is not responsible for unsealed cartons or item(s) not packed by Simple Movers. Shipper understands that the carrier is not responsible for ceramic, granite, or marble and does not warrant the mechanical condition of appliances, or electronics, as there is no way for the carrier to know the operational ability of each item prior to the move. Shipper understands that the carrier is not responsible to any damage to pianos or grandfather clocks.

Important Notice: Pressed Board, particle or compressed wood is excluded from our coverage due to the nature of the material. Always check with your home or renters insurance for coverage terms.

A 10% processing fee will be added to the final total. There is a three hour minimum on each job and a travel fee may apply in some cases.  At the completion of each job the final balance will be charged to the credit card left on file.

Simple Moving Labor strongly recommends renting/purchasing at least 2 dozen blankets/pads per room being moved in order to protect your furniture (this amount will vary depending on the size and amount of items in each room).  Failure to provide a sufficient number of blankets/pads may void any insurance claims filed for damages caused during your move.
